Elevation gain will be very small during this weekend but the views stunning anyway. ( Elevation day 1: 350m+ , Day 2: 250m+, distance for both days: 8km\n​After this weekend wild course you will leave with:\n\n\nMore Confidence to be Outside Alone\n\n\nPlan Wild Camping Trip\n\n\nBetter understanding how to read maps & prepare your trip\n\n\nFood during wild camping\n\n\nSafety, respect to Flora & Fauna\n\n\n\n\nAt the same time you will be able to feel the freedom of being in wilderness, pristine nature & stunning views. Experiencing what it means to\nLive Outside 24 hours a day.\nA cherry on the top of cake will be the stunning views to glacier.\nImagine- your feet on a wild mountain trail breathing in fresh oxygen and beauty that come in the form of views, sounds and smells.. hiking through the majesty of the wild mountain lakes and waterfalls when, after a long day outside you yet stay Outside and sleep in a tent?\n  \n\nWhat to look forward to\nTogether with a group you’ll hike for 2 days, the hikes will be short, especially day 1. We will take time to learn, share and have fun as well as prepare a camp. For those who are hungry to hike more, we may do a sunset hike after installing the camp.\nNot only learning but also- walking, connecting with nature and group, breath taking views and mindfulness practices will allow you to come back to yourself.\n \n\n\n\nItinerary\nWild location that will be revealed only to the participants of this wild trip.\nThe only thing that we know is that we will meet at 9.34am in Sierre, Valais.\n​Ruta has done multiple wild camping trips in this region and now is ready to share the best of it with you!\n\n\n\n\nFood\n\n\nWe do not like eating from the packs or artificial foods. All food is carefully selected and prepared in the evening and morning with healthy ingredients. Food will be vegetarian- vegan. You will need to bring your own lunch for both days.\nFood for evening meal & breakfast will be brought by the leader and dispatched among the participants. Expect 300g extra.\n\n \n\nLogistics and other details\nPRICE:\n390 CHF/ 410 EUR all included \nWhat is included in the price?\nProfessional services by qualified trekking guide\nWilderness course: how to plan itinerary, food, respect to nature, safety, etc.\nProgram involves: course material, trekking, mindfulness, outdoor coaching\nAll meals during the trek (breakfast and dinner)\nCarefully prepared routes and program\nAdvice on the camping gear\nWhat is not included in the price​\n\n\nTransportation to Valais (meeting point of the trek)\n\n\nTravel and personal Insurance\n\n\nLogistics details:\nNeed to be at the starting point of the trip at 9.34am on July 5th, 2025, Sierre Valais.\n​We will finish on July 21st at 3pm. \nCombinable with more extensive travels in Switzerland – advice available upon request.\n​Possible arrangements between participants to arrive 1 night before and sleep already at Sierre.\nA zoom call will be organized to all participants 6 weeks prior to the outing for a detailed briefing\nPayment and Cancellation Policy\nto avoid admin management, full price needs to be paid upon registration. 70CHF registration fee is non refundable, the rest:\nFully Refundable up to 1 month to the course\n50% refundable 1 month before the course\n2 weeks before- non refundable\n\nGear Needed\n\n\nYou will need your standard hiking gear plus camping gear: tent, sleeping bag & mattress.\nDetailed list of material will be sent when registered.\nSome of the gear can be rented, prices for 2 days:\n\n\nSleeping bag 30 CHF\n\n\nTent for 2 when shared with another participant: 20 CHF/person\n\n\nPrivate single superior tent: 40 CHF\n\n\nMattress: 30 CHF\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\nMeet Experience creator- Ruta\n\n\n\n\nRuta has done her first hike back in 2013- she then realized that the real life is not happening in the indoor- office environment but rather outside.\nThis made her realize that she was missing something important in her life- connection with Nature. Since then, most of her time she spends outside- climbing, hiking, wild camping, walking in the forests, parks and other natural places. She has become hiking ‚guru‘ and is now passionate to share the most beautiful places in the Swiss Alps with the others.
