DESCRIPTION:Back to nature 3 day snow shoeing & nature connection\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAfter hiking, snow shoeing, adventuring  &  connecting with the locals for a few years, I am pleased to invite you to this exceptional trip.​\n\n\n\n\nThis is a 3-day unique experience in a kind and caring small community ( max 9 participants) of human beings in an authentic and pristine Alpine environment.\nMeet you in Pays D‘Enhaut region, Switzerland.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWalking/ Snow shoeing in Pays D’Enhaut region means immersing yourself into authentic, fairy tale like landscapes. This region breaths simplicity, coziness and ‘la douceur pour le Coeur’ (open hearted softness).\nDuring 3 days we will take time to snow shoe in the hidden corners of this Valley, not rushing anywhere, taking our time to appreciate the landscape, cultural life, human and nature connection.\nWe will stay in a local and historical hotel at Chateaux D’Oex.\n,In the depth of winter, I finally learned that there was in me an invincible summer.,  Albert Camus\n\n\nWhat you can expect from the 3 days\n\n\n\n\nWinter hiking- snow shoeing in an off beaten track\n\n\nNature Connection practices\n\n\nStay in a local & authentic place\n\n\nDrop offs to the best snow shoeing spots\n\n\nInspiring & supportive group spirit\n\n\nSnow shoeing for around 4h per day: 300-500m up and down, approx 7-10km\n\n\nAnd most importantly- sharing the same experience with other humans, creating memories and having fun!\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout the place where we will stay\n\n\nYou will stay in an authentic hotel in a pristine and wild Pays D‘Enhaut Valley, a place still full of traditions and original lifestyle.\nHotel Ermitage Chateaux D’Oex – this is the last time we can stay in this hotel before its closure.​\nThis valley is reachable by public transport (gorgeous belle epoque train) and it’s 1h 40min drive from Geneva and 2h 50min drive from Zurich.​\nA nearby village of Chateau D’Oex is known for air balloon festival taking place in January.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWinter hiking & mindful walking\nOpen your eyes, activate your ears, slow down your feet and walk. When you re-learn how to walk mindfully, you will never walk and see nature in the same way again. Be Outside Participants love this and share that this is life changing experience!\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBelle Epoque train will bring you to the trek start place. This is quite an experience!\n\n\nLogistical details, price & conditions\n\n\nTrek will start on Friday, December 4th at 10 am and will finish on Sunday, December 6th at 3pm. Detailed program and list of things to take will be shared once registered.
