Wild & Free 5 day Trek, August 18-22d 2027
Binntal – Alpe de Vero (Italy)
Two countries. One mountain landscape. Five days on foot.

Imagine- your feet on a wild mountain trail breathing in fresh oxygen and beauty that come in the form of views, sounds and smells.. walking through the majesty of the wild mountain lakes and grandiose landscape when, after a long day outside you sleep in a secluded and authentic mountain hut?
There are still corners of the Alps where the journey feels wonderfully untouched. Where trails are quiet, valleys remain deeply connected to their traditions, and crossing a mountain pass can take you not only into another valley – but into another country.
This 5-day journey begins in Binntal, one of Valais’ most beautiful and secluded mountain valleys, and takes us across the Alps into the wild landscapes of Alpe Devero in Italy.
But this is not simply about getting from Switzerland to Italy. It is about experiencing the transition.
We will leave behind the familiar and travel slowly, carrying what we need on our backs. We will follow old mountain trails and historic passages once used to connect communities on opposite sides of the Alps.
Day by day, the landscape changes- so does the architecture, the food and the rhythm of life.
However the mountains continue uninterrupted – because mountains have no borders, only we do.
Along the way, there will be space to slow down and notice: the silence of the high valleys, the geology beneath our feet, alpine plants, traditional mountain settlements, and the subtle cultural shift as Switzerland gradually becomes Italy.
We will stay in authentic mountain accommodation, share food around the same table and experience the simplicity that comes when life is reduced to walking, eating, resting and being present.
This is not a trek about collecting kilometres. It is an invitation to experience the Alps differently.
-To walk slowly enough to notice.
-To connect with the landscape rather than simply pass through it.
-To experience what happens when we cross both geographical and personal boundaries.
Designed for the medium to advanced level hikers and anyone who would like to discover mountain in a safe but wild environment. Every day you will hike for 4-5 hours with a stable pace, taking time for being, immersing into incredible views and enjoying group spirit.
We will stay in the magnificent and authentic Swiss & Italian mountain huts and agriturismo in the middle of the nature wilderness. Each cabin is different and authentic in its own way.
