I am so excited to welcome you to the Be Outside Hiking Club. Finally, in 2026 I can make it a reality. I invite you to discover French Speaking Switzerland on foot, to connect with other human beings and immerse into your own mental & emotional state accompanied by seasons.
I invite you to make hiking a sustained habit and get outside throughout the the 4 seasons. I promise that will create multiple benefits for your wellbeing as you take your steps outside regularly.
We will go hiking once a month and each hike will have a seasonal topic which will connect you with nature and yourself.
If you miss any of the 12 hikes (vacation, unexpected situations), you will be able to have 8 extra hikes to catch up or join them anyway. In total you will have access to 20 local hikes! WOW!
In summary this is what I would like to offer for you:
⛰12 hikes each on the 2d Sunday of the month (with few exceptions due to bank holiday)- those hikes will be only for members
⛰4 seasonal hikes / 1 day retreats : they will be accessible to all my community incl non members
⛰4 seasonal hikes that will take place on Fridays ( an opportunity to prolong a weekend and enjoy less crowded trails).
Since I moved to Montreux Riviera, I keep being surprised about some hikes where nobody goes and I wish to share them with my community.

January 11th : Le Niermont, Paccots, Canton Fribourg

February 15th: Molard, Montreux Riviera, Canton Vaud
Meeting point: Les Avants. End point: Les Avants. Elevation: 460 m+, 460m -, 7km, snow shoeing time: 3h40min
March 15th: Morgins, Canton Vaud
Meeting & Ending point: Morgins. Elevation: 600 m+, 600m -, 9km, snow shoeing time: 4h30min
April 19th: Territet to Haut de Caux (with the harvest of wild garlic)
Meeting point: Territet Ending point: Haut de Caux. Elevation: 900 m+, 200m -, 9km, hiking time: 3h40min
May 10th: Rossinière
Meeting & Ending point: Rossinière . Elevation: 1000 m+, 1000m -, 10km, hiking time: 5h
June 14th: Gerignoz to Etivaz
Meeting point: Gerignoz. Ending point: Etivaz. Elevation: 1100 m+, 800m -, 10km, hiking time: 4h40min
July 19th: from Diableretes to Villars
Meeting point: Diablerets. Ending point: Villars. Elevation: 1000 m+, 500m -, 16km, hiking time: 5h
September 6th: Haut de Caux to Villeneuve (including the Harvest of Blackberries!)
Meeting point: Haut de Caux. Ending point: Villeneuve. Elevation: 600 m+, 1400m -, 13km, hiking time: 5h
August 16th:
October 18th: Col de Jaman to Montbovon
November 15th: Chateaux d’Oex to Rossinière
December 13th: Mont Tendre, Jura

IMORTANT: the situation in the mountain is ever changing. Some hikes might need to be replanned due to the change of conditions & terrain.

EXPLORER: 6 hikes + 4 hikes (half a year of hiking and community): 690 CHF
WONDERER: 4 day hikes + 2 (1 per season, note: 1 day retreats are excluded from this offer): 470 CHF
Once you become a member by paying a fee, you will receive a more detailed plan where you will be able to mark the outings which you wish to join.
